Welcome to the 2009 update.

I have been working in the media industry since 1999 where I started as a director’s assistant for Charles Sturridge on Longitude (Channel 4). A year later I moved into the location profession and worked for a year and a half at a well known locations library, leaving the office and stepping foot into the freelance world took me to working as a location assistant & scout. Quickly I was location managing commercials moving on to television productions and more recently feature films.
One of my keenest skills is location scouting, over the years I have spent many hours beating the streets of the UK looking for any types of locations from the ‘average’ sitting room to interior of the United Nations in the UK!
I have amassed an extensive digital locations library from these many scouting jobs, many of these locations are unique and many are un-filmed. Not all these locations are situated in London but through out the country. You can see examples of these locations in the SCOUT page of this web site.
Location managing is the balance of the artistic demands of the film production with the realities of the real world. Being in a film unit can be insular and the public, residents and care of the property be overlooked by the busy crew but a good locations team will be able to achieve all of this and keeping everyone happy.
Take a look through the website, it small, only 4 main pages and I am sure it will give you an overview of my skills and expertise in finding the right location for your production.

There are three areas to the site; credits, scout and explore.

Under credits you will find an online curriculum vitae with details of the production company, type of production and producer or location manager I have worked for. At the bottom of this list is a button to download a printable Adobe.pdf CV. Under scout are picture of locations recently scouted. These could offer up some ideas for your production (have a look as I regularly update this page). Explore currently has some shots from previous location filming.
